Couples Counseling

It's amazing what a good relationship can do for your spirit. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with a lot of couples, and have seen it all. I've seen unfaithful couples, angry couples, couples who have lost the spark - It's clear to see the pain caused to each person by the relationship. But I also get to see couples a few months into couples therapy - and watch as that pain turns into joy and fulfillment.

A good relationship can help you go from dreading the drive home to looking forward to it. It can also change how you define yourself and your overall mood and life satisfaction. Close relationships are essential to survival, and the one with your significant other is the most important of all.

Some people think couples therapy is a lot of work - there's a lot of hesitation to make that call, and I get it. As someone who has watched countless couples re-connect, it's hard to imagine any relationship that doesn't deserve a fighting chance.
