SPECIALTIES & THERAPY APPROACH
Relationships ~ Burnout ~ Trauma ~ Life transitions
Kate is dedicated to supporting individuals who are navigating challenges related to relationship dynamics, burnout, trauma, life transitions, and domestic violence. She strives to assist her clients in clarifying their values and goals, helping them overcome obstacles and identify solutions.
THERAPY APPROACH
Psychodynamic
Kate integrates a psychodynamic perspective to help clients understand how past experiences shape their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She uses various evidence-based methods, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and mindfulness practices, to create a personalized, client-centered experience that meets each person's unique needs. She strives to cultivate a non-judgmental environment where individuals feel safe, seen, and heard.
I believe that curiosity is the key to taking the first step in examining what may be uncomfortable, joyful, and surprising. Exploring one’s inner world is a lifelong journey. I consider it a privilege to hear an individual’s story and walk alongside them in support. Every person has the right to be seen and heard.
