Camila is passionate about working with adults and adolescents struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and/or challenging life experiences.

Camila’s approach is rooted in psychodynamic, mindfulness, and strengths-based modalities, guided by a person-centered perspective. She prioritizes the therapeutic relationship, and aims to work collaboratively with clients to build awareness to their mind, body, emotions and thoughts. With deep empathy and compassion, she cultivates a safe, supportive space for exploration and growth. As an EMDR-trained therapist, she also integrates this evidence-based approach to help clients process trauma and overcome distressing experiences.

Graduate training at Family Service of Santa Monica, a community mental health agency partnered with the Department of Mental Health to provide affordable therapeutic services to adults, adolescents, and children.

Trained in Trauma Resiliency Model level 1 at Trauma Resource Institute, a course designed to teach clinicians how to help children, teens, and adults who are experiencing traumatic stress reactions stemming from traumatic experiences.

Trained in Gottman Couples Therapy level 1, a comprehensive treatment approach focused on evidence-based couples therapy techniques and interventions.
