THERAPY APPROACH
CBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic and solution focused modalities
Camila’s work with clients is informed by CBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic and solution focused modalities. She operates from a person-centered perspective and ultimately believes that the therapeutic relationship between her and her clients comes first. By practicing unconditional empathy and compassion, she strives to foster a safe environment where clients can feel seen and heard. She aims to help clients identify their own strengths while acknowledging where they are in their life journey.
Through her training as a yoga teacher, Camila has also become aware of the ways in which our mind and body can be out of sync. Her main goal is to meet client’s where they are and collaboratively cultivate awareness surrounding their connection to their mind and body, emotions, thoughts, and past experiences.
I believe personal growth lies on the other side of adversity. Together, we will work together to create meaning around your lived experiences and find effective ways to navigate life's challenges so you can continue to lead an authentic and empowered life.
